What's new

We are very excited about the many new developments with Understanding Math 2008.

  1. A significant upgrade in instructional lessons/material---about 20% new lessons.
  2. The addition of a Spanish component to the Understanding Numeration (K to 3) program to provide a dual language capability. A switch allows for toggling at will between Spanish and English.
  3. A new interface which creates a consistent look and much faster entry and navigation amongst the 10 programs.
  4. Additions to the reporting utility to increase the scope of the information developed from the assessment component of the programs.
  5. New support materials including DVD's on the principles of development and research data reflecting student growth from use of the programs. The material also includes a DVD of model lessons and a DVD of 5 videos to help introduce the programs and strategies on how to use them. The binder of materials also include an installation manual, a progress tracking and management manual, a lessons manual, a manual on implementation for K to 3 and a manual on implementation for grades 4 to 10.
  6. All materials have a common branding, a common look. This branding is also reflected in our new website.
  7. New support sheets for every topic of the Understanding Math programs for Grades 4 to 10. These also reflect the many additions and changes made to Understanding Math 2008.
  8. New correlations for most states and provinces in North America. These reflect the many additions and changes made to Understanding Math 2008.

The cost of this major upgrade is the present cost (available on our website) less the money already paid for previous versions. Please contact us for more information.
